BMW 2002 Schrick Camshaft 316

Racing only.  The genuine Dr. Schrick 316 degree camshaft is for racing only. It will give the M10 usable power above 7,500 rpm. Because it has such large lift, the first two cam journals on the head must be enlarged 2 mm. The 316 is internally oiled, and an oil restrictor should be placed in the block. Note: You must use double valve springs with this cam.

Warranty Note: When running a new camshaft, we recommend new rocker arms (worn used rockers may damage your cam). There is no warranty on camshafts unless new rocker arms are used.

When running any performance cam in the M10 we recommend using an oil additive that restores ZDDP levels (Zinc/Phosphorus) to prevent premature wear.
