BMW Front Coilover Kit Adjustable (price is for one pair)

Upgrade part.  Front coilover sleeve and adjuster kit for the 2002. These are essential for a race car and useful for dual-purpose cars as well. You can set the ride height wherever you want, and change it in only a few minutes. The threaded adjustment sleeves bear on and are centered by a provided machined collar that must be welded to the strut. The lower perch is threaded on it's ID so you can turn it up or down to change ride height. Kit is designed for use with 2.5" ID springs and includes threaded sleeves, adjustable lower spring perch and machined collars to mount the sleeves on the strut. Springs for these kits are sold elsewhere on our website in a variety of free lengths and spring rates.

Race cars are usually lowered so much that the front shock travel becomes insufficient, and therefore the front strut housings are usually shortened 2" to restore shock travel. In this case a special shorter bodied Bilstein are used which are available elsewhere in our catalog. We provide a drawing showing where to cut and weld, or we can do the installation for you. Please specify strut height (stock or shortened).
